Still blogging about Texas : Feeding the deer

One evening some deer came right up the the house hoping to find some food. I was surprised they stuck around for so long to allow us to go get food, come back, take pictures, feed them, and then just watch. These are wild deer that live in the area. It's actually illegal to feed them because they want the deer population to go down, but they were hungry and we just happened to have deer corn! :)

(Please excuse my child with no pants...we were just getting her ready for bed when my aunt's boyfriend said there were deer in the front yard.)
