This Sunday is Jessica's baby shower that I am throwing for her. I am so excited! Mostly I'm excited because I have been planning my present to her for several months and I finally get to put it together and surprise her. I know you're curious but...."Shh....it's a secret!" :) I will post and let you know if I am actually able to pull it off and how it turns out. I can't wait.
I've always felt a little bit like Jessica's mom. I've very protective over her and even though we are only 5 years apart, I was always very mature and grew up fast so I felt like I had to help take care of her. I know that this is going to be very hard, but she will pull through. Part of my protective nature wanted to do it for her, and believe me I thought of it, but that wasn't God's plan in this. I am blessed that we live in the same town and I can be there to help her. I'm proud of her and I know she will be a great mom! I love Jessica so much and wish I could bless her more than I can, but I can't wait to give her this gift. I think it's going to really touch her! At least I hope it does! :)
