Thankful for my Uncle Tim

Today I got to see my uncle for the second time this year. He is very different from my in almost every way. But for the past 5 or 6 years he has tried harder than any other extended family member to stay in touch with me. In college, he called me all the time. Even in prison he wrote me letters the entire time he was in there. :) He talks to me like an adult and not the way most aunts and uncles still think of me as a child. He always tells me he loves me and would do anything for me and that means a lot from a man that doesn't come off to others as very loving. So while we may be very different, I'm thankful to have him in my life!
