Thankful Day 3

I am thankful for big green machines! :) When we were thinking about moving to Thomasville, Nathan knew we couldn't do it unless he could find a job first. When he contacted GreenSouth they did not have a position open at the time, but just the few minutes on the phone with the store manager, struck something in him that this guy was too good to let go. They made a small position for him and basically told him he would have to work his way up and that is exactly what he did. Nathan went from being just a salesman at one of their stores not hardly making any money, to creating an internet sales website and growing the company, to becoming the used equipment manager for all 14 stores and in charge of all internet sales in a very short time!! I think the credit goes to three...God for showing Nathan such favor, Nathan for being the kind of worker that is always trying to benefit the company instead of just himself because he knows it will help him too, and to those big green machines! Because of the money Nathan has made with John Deere, it has allowed me the opportunity to carry out my dream of being a stay at home mommy, build our own house, and more. I am so thankful that Nathan has a job that he can go to every day in a time that many are searching for jobs. Obviously, he is in sales and is paid by commission and by how all of the salesman preform because of his leadership role, so this year has not been nearly as good as last. We have had to cut back a good bit, but we realize that our cutting back is not the same as many. So while I have tried to discourage people from buying us many John Deere paraphernalia unless it's for his office...Green and Yellow just aren't me colors and not really a tractor girl...but I gotta be thankful that so many love John Deere because that is what we make a living off of!
