The Birthday Boy

On November 2nd, 2008, our boy was born! I remember when I got the call because we were on our way back from the Georgia Florida game and were riding in the car when our breeder called me. We had been planning for a Great Dane before we got married and like our future children, he had a name. (Told you in the past we planned too far in advance! haha)

I didn't take him with me last time I went to the vet so I don't know how much he weighs. I know for sure it is over 130 because that is what he was in the beginning of September! I will try and weight him soon but that's hard to do because now that he is so big and incredibly strong, it can be difficult to take him and Addison to a place he doesn't want to be at all by myself. :)

I love Titus. It's hard for me in some ways because I'm so focused on Addison that I don't get to spend near the amount of time with him as I would like. Every once and a while he and I will go and run an errand at places like Tractor supply where he can go in, but most of the time if he is with me, Addison is there too. He is such a great dog. Protective but very sweet. He is still a big baby and has no idea how big he is because even tiny dogs make the hair on his back stand up! haha Potty training and crate training were a breeze. He plays so well with Addison. He does get on my nerves by chasing the cats all day and every now and then he wont come back inside when called, but the older he gets, the more I enjoy him. And even though we actually were supposed to get dogs from two other litters, we know he was meant to be our Titus!
