Teething

Addison has 5 teeth. She had only four for 7 months before she got the 5th one. Now...she is trying to make up for that. She now has 3 teeth that have broken through her gums on top. She for sure has a molar growing under her gums on the bottom right side and last night when I was brushing her teeth, it looked like a molar was growing under her gums on the left! So Addison will soon have 4 more teeth, but maybe 5. I had a feeling this would happen because she is almost 18 months and only has 5 teeth. But in some ways it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. The days are fine. Unlike her other teeth that she got one or two at a time, she is still eating the way she normally does. She hasn't ran fevers during the day either. The nights have been a little tough. Waking up, crying, not going back to sleep, running a small temp, and stuff like that. Addison is a little different than most babies because she doesn't drool when she is teething and she doesn't chew on things much. I have tried a number of things but she just would rather not have anything touch them. I'm really surprised she hasn't stopped eating with all of these because in the past she would barely eat for several days until the tooth broke through. You can barely see these new pearly whites, but when you can, I'll post some pictures!
