Today Addison had her 18 month checkup. She was fine in the doctors office but as soon as the nurse who usually gives the shots called her name, she started crying! And she continued to cry throughout most of the visit because apparently she knew what was coming. She weighed 28.6 pounds with her clothes and boots on so a little less than that. That puts her in the 90-95 for weight. And then when she was only in a diaper, she measured 34.25 inches tall! She is still a good bit off the charts for height. He punched her information in and said by some calculator thing they use, that if this growth rate continues, she will be 5'10" fully grown. Now, we have no idea if that will actually happen because I know some people that said they were supposed to be really tall and ended up not being several inches shorter, but it's cool to think about. I can't imagine my little girl being 2 inches taller than me! haha He said she is extremely healthy, seems to be ahead of most all her milestones for this age, and overall doing really well. So that brings us to this conclusion....Addison Grace Gamble is not suffering from hardly napping her whole life! He said she is obviously not lacking anything. :)
I can't believe my little peanut is a year and half! Where does the time go??? She is becoming so grown up! Just this week she started wiping her hands and face with her own napkin and got her own step stool to stand on to wash her hands before eating. (She has been eating a little better so that's great too!)I I feel like Addison has been apart of my life forever, but I can't believe how quickly time is going by. We are talking about trying to get pregnant soon and it feels like we just got pregnant with Addison! Just reminds me to cherish all the time we have because it's over before we know it.
