We've been going to the park to play and feed the geese...
Earning our keep...
Learning how to cut grass like dad...
Hard work is rewarded with a picnic lunch...
And enjoyed the outdoors even when it's hot.
We've gone back to the park to swing...
We decided the second time to be even more brave.
We have visited Papa Don's farm a few times and always love to see the chickens.
Papa Don showed us how to pick the grapes.
Taken lots of four wheeler rides!
We have been swimming several times... even with our tractors.
We can still be sassy when we swim...
And we're thankful when our favorite guy can join us!
We celebrated the 4th of July. (One of us laid on the blanket with our eyes closed and ears covered and then decided to be brave to watch the finale...then declared, "THAT WAS AMAZING!! I WISH I COULD HAVE WATCHED THE WHOLE THING!")
Played learning games on dad's Ipad...
And created our own style in dress up.
Been to Fun Station Jr to get some energy out on a couple of rainy days.
Found different occasions to wear our favorite outfit...
And continued to look as precious as ever.
Had a date with mom and saw the movie Brave and loved it!
Splashed in several rain puddles. (It's rained a lot here!)
Visited other parks. (Hey...we don't have any playsets of our own and mom says playing outside is good for us...and makes for quieter rest times.) *wink*
We also started going to the library about once a week. We enjoy checking out new books, playing with puzzles, coloring, and the mother goose play house.
So far the summer has been pretty good but it's flying by!!! We've done a few more things but I'm saving those for separate blogs.
