Yesterday I went to Addison and said, "Addison your room is really messy."
Addison: "Yep, it sure is!"
Me: "Well then I think you should go try and clean it up."
Addison: "Well I think it was YOUR idea so YOU should clean it!"
Me: "I think you better check the way you're speaking to me to see if it's respectful and go clean your room."
Addison: "Yes ma'am..."
She walks down the hall and I finally let out the laugh that was trying to come out. Sometimes they do things that catch me off guard and I know I have to respond like a good mother but can't help to find it funny sometimes. There are times when I don't save the laugh until they aren't looking and have to turn away or even leave the room for a second. haha
