The kids and I had the awesome opportunity to spend a few days at the beach for free!! Addison became good friends with one of the girls in Addison's class last year. Towards the end of the year, her mother and I became friends as well. Her family has a condo in Destin, Fl and asked us if we wanted to join them. Only cost us the gas to go and the food (and shopping) we did while down there. We had a great time! The weather was so-so. We had some rain but the sun came out enough for us to enjoy some pool time at the beach. I miss it!! I love the beach! Here are the pictures from our trip...

You might notice I did not take any of the kids in the ocean. I honestly could hardly keep up with them and just knew my phone would end up in the water. I tell Nathan that Weston saves his most crazy moments for me. When we went to the beach as a family it was tiring of course but we each took turns watching each child. This time I was out-numbered so that was hard in the ocean. One day Weston was face-planting into the ocean! He would back up the dry sand, run as fast as he could, and dive head first into the water. Biggest smile on his face, mouth open, etc...I had to be there to catch him and he was trying to run away from me. I just know the people watching thought I wasn't paying enough attention but the coughing didn't stop him. I finally just had to make him stop because I was warn out! haha So it wasn't a relaxing trip. I didn't read, lay out by myself, or anything like that. But it was fun for the kids. I loved watching them have so much fun!
