The Pumpkin Patch

Last year our Mommy group took a trip to the big Pumpkin Patch in Camilla. It's about 35 minutes from us. It was ok, but to be honest, it wasn't that fun for me. Addison was 5 months old and I had forgotten her stroller so I had to carry her the whole time. And I went through the corn maze which was silly because I got so tired of holding her and it wasn't as if she could do anything else. It was nice for a couple of pictures, but that was it.

This year we decided to go on a Saturday so the dads could join us. Which I was excited about because I know it meant a lot to Nathan to get to see her experience it. And this year was so much better. Although she got tired of going through the corn maze towards the end...after all, because of "slow poke" Gamble, we were the last ones out! haha She was running with the other children at first but after getting lost so many times she got tired of it. Once we made it out she suddenly got another burst of energy. After the pumpkin patch we got together to grill out, but I didn't take any pictures of that.

Addison checking out the "Pumpkin Tree". She was very gentle.

I love my Gambles!!

I would not want to be a child photographer. It is so hard to get a group of children to all look and smile at once! haha

All Addison wanted to do was slide down the hay while we tried to take her picture. Nathan had to keep putting her back further and further. She was laughing the whole time! It was pretty cute. :)

Me and my girl!

Look at those ugly eyes! haha She was ready to be done with this thing! But doesn't my man look handsome?!

This is the Big Pumpkin thing they have every year for the kids to jump in. We were both really surprised that when i put her in with the other kids she just started running and jumping. She fell down several times and laughed. (Having a Great Dane helps because while other kids are crying over a little fall, our child just thinks this is apart of daily life!) She really loved this thing!

Later Addison decided she wanted back on, but only because she discovered the entrance was more like a slide to her. This little girl LOVES going down slides now!
