Ok so this is really only applying to our family that reads this blog not to my friends. :)
For Christmas, Nathan and I are only wanting gift cards to places such as Lowes, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and stuff like that. Or money...money is always great! lol We are trying very hard to pay several things off by the end of the year because we have a lot of things coming up that we will need money for. (Nathan's jeep is 16 years old and he needs another vehicle, we plan to have another baby next year, and also we are going to try and sell are house.) So as much as we would love gifts like clothes and shoes and more fun things. We have decided to ask for things that we will actually need. After Christmas we will be doing a few home improvement things around the house and yard and that will really help if we had money from Lowes to buy the paint and other things. And because we have been on a strict budget in some ways, I haven't been able to decorate near as much as I thought and would like to use the other gift cards to make my house a little more inviting for potential buyers. And the good news is decorations can follow us to the next house!
For Addison, she will pretty much be set in the clothes department. She already advanced to the next size so we had to buy all new clothes a few weeks ago. And we will buy her more for Christmas. However, toys are something we never buy because it just isn't a need. But recently it has become obvious that she has outgrown most of her toys and bored with the same ones every day. She has plenty of stuff animals! She loves things like Lego's and things she can put together, she really likes to color, she has baby dolls but nothing that go with the babies, she could possibly use some more kitchen stuff. Addison likes to think and figure stuff out and do them over and over. She only has a couple of movies. So hopefully that will help!
This is NOT a request for gifts!! This year has been hard for everyone and we do not expect anything from anyone because Christmas isn't about that. This is just a hint or helpful note to anyone who was already planning on buying gifts.
