Daddy

Addison just started calling Nathan "Daddy"! It is unbelievably cute too me. Again, this is one of those things she seems to just pick up because I refer to Nathan as "DaDa" 99% of the time. But she says Daddy now and it is so clear and adorable. I prayed and prayed before she was born that she would be a daddy's girl because I think that is very important relationship for a little girl to have. And I think it is really cute when a little girl calls her dad, daddy. I do hope she grows out of it by highschool though! haha Personally, I can't stand to hear grown women in their 20s talking about their daddies. If they call him daddy, fine. But if you're telling me some story and call him daddy it's just immature to me. Anyways, Addison has many years before that! This is just another example of how my baby is becoming a big girl too fast! :)

My prayer has come true because Addison is undeniably a Daddy's Girl in every way! Her entire face lights when I tell her he's home and she runs to door as fast as she can and when the door is open she squeals in delight and runs to him! She prefers to be with him over anyone. (Her aunt Jessica is probably a close second!) Every time we pass pictures of him in the hall way she points him out, and then the "baby", but no mention of the woman who brought her here! haha I love that she loves him. And I love how much having a little girl has meant to Nathan in ways he never imagine.
