You only get one chance to be a kid!

After dinner and before bath, we usually have play time outside for Addison. I figure it's a good time to get as dirty as she wants because she is going to be getting a bath either way!

Most of the time we are out front, but sometimes we go to the back deck and play. Addison loves to have help walking down the stairs, up again, down again...you get the idea. haha She loves playing in her pool by walking back and forth dipping things in the water and stuff like that. Until recently, Addison wasn't able to get into the pool all by herself so it wasn't really a problem. The other night I got Nathan's attention so he could see what I noticed. Addison had one leg over the pool and was about to get in. We just watched. I ran and got the camera. She leaned back fully clothed and began having a blast! Nathan wasn't too sure about it but I told him, "You are only a kid once." After a minute or two he embraced the idea and started dumping water on her. She loved it!

And now that she continues to get in the pool with all her clothes and shoes is not nearly as cute as the first time. But mommy still laughes when daddy isn't looking. :)
