Titus, being a puppy, is very playful. He likes Addison, but doesn't pay her too much attention because he is already learning that he has to be gentle with her. He still doesn't understand why she can play with his toys, but he can't play with hers. Titus thinks the cats are really great and would love to play with them. Scoots, our tabby, has taken to staying up high all day long so that she doesn't have to be bothered by him. Bear still hasn't made up his mind. Before Titus, Bear drove me nuts on a daily basis! He is the only cat I know that can stay up all day just because he has to know what you're doing and be in the room that you are in. He is the one that showed us he could fetch. He is extremely smart! But that often leads to trouble. Since Titus has arrived, he has been much better. Bear is so curious about what Titus is doing that he isn't underfoot nearly as much. Titus tries to pounce on Bear, chases him all over the house, and plays too rough. But it doesn't keep Bear away. I can tell that the older they get, they will become good friends.
This moment was the first real sign of friendship. Titus was asleep on his bed and Bear walked over and sniffed him and decided to lay down. I took the picture right away to capture the moment, but Bear ended up napping next to Titus! Very cute!
