8 Months Old

Addison Grace Gamble is 8 months old today!! Where does the time go? Honestly it's hard to believe it has been that long ago since she was born and on the other hand it's hard to remember what our lives were like without her. When I was pregnant I only thought I had a hard time getting everything done that I needed to. Looking back, it would have been a breeze! Adding a very active 8 month old baby, a puppy, and pumping...it's amazing I do what I do! haha

My sweet baby is growing up so fast! She is becoming a very fast crawler. She is constantly on the move to the next thing she can pull up on. I'm amazed at all the stuff she finds, such as my pant legs, and can do with such little effort. (even her crib) She is so strong!! For a baby that hardly sleeps during the day she is full of energy and all smiles. Today I had a very weak moment and became so frustrated. I was trying to pump because she had just fallen asleep and she woke up. So I picked her up we went into my room and sat on the floor. I started to cry out of frustration for why my child doesn't sleep and feeling overwhelmed with all I needed to do and then Addison started laughing at me! So I started laughing! It helped me see once again that being upset isn't going to make it easier and life is waaay too short to get frustrated over such little things. (easier said than done, right?) It was sweet of her to remind me though. She is so thoughtful like that. :) She is starting to really enjoy Titus, but still really loves the cats. Titus is the only one that will play with her though. I'm really looking forward to them becoming buddies as they grow up together.
