My sister in law advised me when I was pregnant with Addison not to make night time fun and I listened and it worked. I am doing the same thing with Weston only I have a small night light that stays on in his room. I go in, pick him up, change his diaper, nurse, burp, and back down in bed. I never say a word to him. I don't kiss him. (that's really hard for me and sometimes I do by accident. hehe) I know this might sound harsh, but it works. During the day I talk to him all the time and give him tons of love. In my opinion I want to make it as uneventful as possible so that he only cares to get up to get his needs met and then back to bed.
Remember how I told you Weston slept on his tummy? Yeah, he doesn't. I don't even know if he did it again after I posted that. He now sleeps in one of those swaddler things on his back, laying next to a pillow of mine that has a shirt I've previously worn. I was trying all kinds of things out, but this has been what he's been doing for a few weeks so I think it is what we will settle on for now. Whatever works! :)
Here's my boy:

Have I told you how much I love him?? He is so cute and cuddly! I think he wake up every day with a little more chub. That night he slept so well, he wasn't really crying when he woke up in the morning and I went in there and he just looked up at me and smiled. Every time I see that toothless smile I melt!
