First Stop: Lake Charles, LA

Growing up, when we would drive to San Antonio my dad would drive all night long so we would sleep and he wouldn't have to stop much. This time we drove during the day and made lots of stops! When you're pregnant you're supposed to stop often to walk around and keep your circulation going. It was a little annoying to stop every hour and a half but worked out really well for Addison because it kept her from ever feel cramped. One the way there we stopped for the evening in Lake Charles, LA. We ate some really good Louisiana food. When we got back to our hotel room there was a scrawny kitten that looked very hungry. We had actually brought back Addison's left over chicken strips to the room and so we gave her some of that which she gobbled up! Addison loved the little kitty and I finally let her pet it and then we went inside and scrubbed our hands! :)
