Today was Addison's Two Year checkup. Her weight was exactly 31 pounds putting her just below the 90% and her height was exactly 37 inches putting her again a good bit off the charts. Her head circumference was 18 1/2" and that is only 50% which it has always been on the smaller side. I have a smaller head too. No lazy eyes and perfect bill of health.
I have thought that Addison really communicates a lot for her age using real sentences and saying things that surprises me every day. It was nice to hear her doctor comment on it though. He said, "She should be able to say 30 words by now and I've heard her say at least that in the few minutes she has been here and full sentences!" haha He was very surprised she could name 19 different parts on her body too! I knew that naming a few body parts was one of the things they asked so I counted them in my head this morning. It makes me so proud to know my daughter is doing so well. Just preparing myself since I'm having another child and don't want to compare them too much.
When we walked into the actual check up office, Addison walked right in and saw the table that she had to lay down on at her 18 month check up for a shot and said, "Mommy, that hurts me" I was really surprised she remembered it. One smart girl :)
