Our Trip To Montgomery

Most trips Nathan goes one we do not go along. Some like the one he is going on this Thursday aren't worth it...leaving early Thursday morning and coming back late Friday night. Too long of a drive to be in the car all the way down to several Florida stores to turn around and come right back. And then there are some that he is just in too many places like the following week when he will be visiting all the northern stores from Tuesday through Friday. (lots of driving, very little down time!) But occasionally he is going somewhere not to far for a few days and Addison and I join him. Last summer he had to be in Orlando for three days so we split the difference with his company and rented a private house that had it's own pool. Addison, Titus, and I were going to spend our days playing in the pool and when Nathan wasn't working we would have fun in Orlando. It rained the whole time!! haha So that wasn't as good as planned but I always enjoy getting away and not worrying about house work or cooking for a few days. :)

I think this is the first trip we have joined him on since the Orlando trip. Nathan had an auction to go to for a couple of days and it was a little less four hours so we came along. We had a really good time. It wasn't warm enough to enjoy the pool but we made the most of it. After dropping off Nathan in the morning we would be lazy in the hotel room for a while then get ready and go eat some lunch, did some shopping, and took naps together. Addison isn't the best night time person to sleep with because she is crazy but naps are great and so cuddly. Each morning she would wake up real early and climb into bed with us and when she has someone sleeping with her, she actually sleeps in. In the evening we would go out to eat and then hang out as a family. One afternoon Nathan got off early so we spent some time at the Bass Pro shop. Honestly, that isn't really our area of expertise but we have been to that one before and it's HUGE, free, and lots of cool things to see so we went.

Addison sporting her new Dora pjs - size 3T! Her hair is getting so long.

Chilling with B in the morning eating some cheerios. This girl is one cute peanut!

Just one side of the place, I couldn't capture even close to all of the outside with my camera.

If you look closely you can see her lips, "Ooo cool!" & "Wow!" she kept saying while looking at the large stuffed animals. Deer, elk, bears, turkeys, etc.

Addison and Nathan standing if front of the extra large fish tank. This thing was full of fish with some reaching 3 and 4 foot!

Sitting on one of the big boats they had inside.

Addison was so sure this fake trail was a special slide just for her! She went down this thing at least 30 times until we took her away crying. That is...until she saw the next cool thing. haha

When we were in the boat section, Addison all of the sudden started insisting she needed a hat. There were no hats around so we said we would go look for one. Not that she just gets what she asks, but we were so surprised because she has never just needed something like that so bad when she couldn't see them. She was excited but right next to the toddler hats she saw..."Gasses!" and she no longer wanted a hat but this pair she found. She wore them the rest of the time we were in there until we had to leave. Silly Addison...
