Nathan and I are going away together in a few weeks. I can't wait! This will be the first time that we have been away over night just as a couple since September 08! We don't like to leave Addison that much overnight so we don't go many places. If we do, it's almost always with other people or for other people so we don't get a lot of romantic alone time. We had said when we got married that we want to try and take 3 vacations a year...one just as a couple, one as a family with our children, and one as a couple with friends. Last year never got away as a couple. Life just gets in the way some times, doesn't it?
Well Nathan and I are taking off for the beach for three days and two nights! We are boarding Titus and Addison will be staying with her MeMe & Papa. I'm so excited! I LOVE the beach! Nathan already booked our hotel room so now we just have to wait until it's time. We are going in the middle of the week so it will be more private. We aren't planning to do a whole lot of activities on this trip. Going to lay out on the beach, swim in the pool, eat at several cool places, do a little shopping, sleep-in for the first time in forever, and just enjoy being alone. I'm sure I'll have to share Nathan with a few emails and probably several business calls, but other than that, he is all mine!! Did I tell you I'm excited?!?!
That awesome!! I can't remember a time that Matthew and I went away as just a couple. We did go to Savannah for our anniversary last year but I was pregnant. So that doesn't count in my opinion!! Anyway, I'm happy for you guys!!
