Siiiiiick....
Wednesday morning when Addison woke up, I opened the door and immediately smelt something bad. When I walked over to her bed there was dried throw up in her bed and all over her. I wanted to cry because I felt terrible that this happened and I didn't even know! She never cried in the middle of the night or I would have checked on her. Poor baby just threw up and went back to sleep. Well...after a much needed bath and scrubbing her room down, it began a very looong few days! Addison had it coming out of both ends all day Wednesday. Thursday morning, I started feeling sick too. Addison was still a little sick but you would never have known it by her mood. She was full of energy. But by lunch, I was officially SICK! I called Nathan because there was no way I could continue to take care of Addison and myself. I asked Nathan to sleep in the guest bedroom so he wouldn't get sick too. About two in the morning I awoke to hearing Titus barking and then I heard the sound...Nathan was getting sick too. I knew right then that I would have to suck it up somehow. I helped Nathan and then got back to bed for a little bit. Friday was really hard because Nathan was sick and I was still sick and had to take care of him and Addison. Nathan almost never gets sick. Even if he feels nauseous he will resist the urge for hours and never throw up. So for him to get sick a few times, you know it had to be bad. And what is it about men? They are so big and strong, but when they get sick...they turn into the biggest babies! haha My sister and my mother also caught it. We are still not feeling that great today, but have kept everything down thank goodness! I'm not sure what this virus was and really don't care. But, I'd really like to know WHO gave it to us!!

I'm so sorry you guys have all been sick. I hate throwing up! It's the worst feeling in the world.
ReplyDeleteOh girl, I have been there. I felt officially welcomed to motherhood when Chase threw up all over me when he caught that virus last year. We all caught it from him. It was awful! I am glad that you are all getting better.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry girl, but glad to hear ya'll are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI think it's so funny yet sad how men do turn into complete babies when they are sick. That is how I know when Josh is really sick, which isn't often at all.
We went through the same thing last Christmas(of '07) and it was soo hard to take care of me, Luke, and both the kids. We all ended up taking the medicine to help with nausea and also made us sleepy...we tried sleeping it all off...Mom's don't get sick days unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling a little better..hopefully it will all be gone soon!
