I still have a few more blogs to write on Sea World but I haven't had time. I just wanted to take a minute to document for my records...
Today William-Weston turned 8 months old. This morning my heart was a little heavier just thinking about it. 2/3 of the way to a year old. Little hard for this mama to think about. This evening we were at some friends house and he pulled up on their couch! I almost teared up. My little man is growing up so fast!
Weston had another ear checkup on Friday. We didn't do any other measurements except weight. He weighed 20.2 pounds. His ears still have fluid in them. Dr. Reams uses a tool to blow on it and it still isn't moving. The only good news is that is hasn't ever turned into an infection. But because there hasn't been any change in two months, he is giving it one more month before he wants us to talk about putting tubes in. He said that he has all the hope that it will be gone but it's starting to make him nervous because it can cause long term hearing damage. So we are asking yall to pray!!
Other than the ears, Weston is doing awesome. He still nurses like a champ. (6-8 times a day but only on one side most times) He loves his baby food and eats things like spinach, peas, pear, carrot, rutabegga, sweet potatoes, squash, mango, banana, pumpkins, apples, green beans, blue berries, strawberries, beats, and prunes. The only thing I've ever fed him that he didn't like was something that had peaches but it's been a while so maybe he would eat that now too.
He is still the happiest baby! And now his squealing has taken on new levels! Daddy isn't so proud because he sounds like a little girl. haha He is crawling all over the place and into everything! He thinks his sister is the greatest! She always makes him smile and laugh. He is very ticklish. On a rare occasion, like the other night he only wakes up once. But for the most part he gets up twice a night. he loves bath time and being outside. He likes chasing the cats and trying to climb on Titus. (neither are excited about his new found mobility...)
I'll try and blog more on our trip soon. I already have other blogs piling up. :)
