Pool Side

Some of the time that Nathan was working I took the kids to the pool by myself. Went well but it sure was much nicer having help! Nathan and I each got some time alone at the pool with Addison. Not sure what they did, but the time Addison I went alone was a blast! I seriously had the most fun I've ever had with her. We pretended to be dolphins like at Sea World, we jumped off the side of the pool holding hands, tried to work on teaching her how to swim, she did all kinds of tricks, and we laughed the whole time. It was only for an hour but we both had a lot of fun and it meant a lot to me to enjoy that time with her. It was fun abandoning all fear of what people at the pool would think of me and just acting silly with my daughter. Felt like I was a kid again the way we jumped in over and over and splashed. I wish I could spend more time alone with her, but I know more of that will come later.

Here are some pictures of our times at the pool and the beach area the resort has...

Addison improved so much in her swimming just those few days. She is not afraid to stick her whole head in and loves her goggles. She was jumping in, as I mentioned, doing all kinds of tricks off the side. I had her swim a little bit without her float and she was a little scared but did good.

This face cracks me up. The sun was in his eyes but I call this the Joey from friends look... "How you doing?"

Doesn't this look like a nice peaceful time?! Yeah it was a bright idea but it didn't last long. haha Addison loves digging in the sand and would have played longer but Weston was trying to crawl out of his pool and getting sandy so we ended up just heading the pool after a few minutes. :)
