About to start a new sport.

I'm about to be burning extra calories during the day. Despite my feelings on the subject, I'm going to be entered into a new sport. BABY CHASING! Weston is so close to crawling! In fact he kinda does it...backwards. He can push himself down the hall. But he gets stuck under beds, dressers, the couch, and backs into walls and gets upset because he can't go forward. When you put him on his tummy he pops up onto all fours and then puts himself in a sitting position. Then he will get back on all fours when he wants to reach toward something. His arms are doing the crawling motion, but he straightens his legs flat and then reeaaaches as far as he can. If he can't get what he wants, he just sits up and turns towards something else.

I've been working with him and allowing him time to learn to crawl even though deep down I don't want him to. Two reasons for this. 1. My little baby is growing up too fast and I'm trying to hold onto each moment. I look forward to the "easier" days, but honestly I am sad they will be here so soon. 2. I don't like the crawling stage! It's such a pain. They get so dirty and mess up their clothes. (although the summer will be better because Addison crawled in the winter and ruined each pair of pants) They want to get down and you can't let them crawl around most places so they get upset.

I can tell him will be fast and into everything! On one hand he will happier because he can entertain himself better but I'm going to have to watch his every move. Addison started crawling the day before she turned 6 months so I'm glad Weston has held off a little longer! My life is about to get even more busier!
