Goodbye for now

We had to say goodbye unexpectedly to Jessica and Hayden. They moved to Alabama. It was a very tearful goodbye on my part because I didn't see it coming and had hoped to stay close with them. I was there in the ultrasound and was the one that shouted "It's a boy!". I was in the hospital when he was born. I cut his cord. His first night born he slept on my chest in the hospital room. I kept him for the first few months while Jessica worked. I feel very deeply connected to him even though I haven't gotten to see him much lately. I pray they are safe and that one day they will return! Thankfully, they are coming to visit in a few weeks so I'm going to try and plan his first birthday party. :) If you think of my sister and nephew, please be praying for them!

He is so precious! I love his little curls! I sure will miss this little man!
