When Addison was little I used to dread nap time. It was a constant battle for 18 months! Now she sleeps great. Some days she only sleeps about an hour, but most days she sleeps anywhere from 1 1/2 to almost 3! Two is about the norm. Weston has his days, like yesterday, that he just cat naps for some reason. But for the most part he will take two short cat naps in the morning and then a long afternoon nap. Anywhere from 2-3 and occasionally longer! Now, he isn't sleeping in his bed for these long naps. He is swaddled in his swing, but really, who cares?! :) It is so nice to have peace and quiet. I love my babies, but Addison talks non stop and Weston is a talker too and he also likes to be held or transported to one activity or the other often. (babies get bored fast!) Occasionally I'll take nap time to blog, get on facebook, or read but most of the time I do house work. That way I get so much more done in a shorter amount of time. I'm giving Weston until about 4 or 5 months to start napping more in his bed. I hope that he transitions well. I really don't mind using that "crutch" but he is growing so fast he is going to max the weight limit soon so I want him to not have to use it.
Well, laundry is calling my name!
