Tomorrow morning we will take our first road trip as a family of four! It's exciting but I'm a little nervous too. Our first several trips with Addison were never very smooth due to her lack of napping I guess and just being a baby. I'm hoping, and believing, that this will be much better. The only thing Addison was easier at than Weston is she slept a lot more at night than he does. Other than that, he is a much easier baby! Our plan is to have everything that we can completely done by the time we go to bed. In the morning we will go about our normal routine...getting ready for the day, eating breakfast, etc. This is easy to do since everyone in our house is usually up by or around 7. Our dog/house sitter is coming about 9 to meet us so we can show him around and let Titus get used to him. (The one we used in the past was going to be out of town also.) And then I'm going to nurse Weston and we will all load up. Drive half way, stop for lunch and to let the kids have some play time, and drive the second half. Doesn't that sound easy enough?! haha Well we shall see. Looks good on paper though. :)
I'm so excited to see all of my in-law family. I saw them in August but I was very pregnant, on bed rest, and looking back I don't think I was nearly as excited. I wish that I felt more comfortable mentally in a pregnant body. Anyways, this time I have a cute little man to show off! I'm excited to see everyone, eat some great food, and do some shopping on Friday! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the sleeping arrangements. Not 100% how we are going to work it out. Probably have Weston and I in one room and Addison and Nathan in the other. They will be fine, Weston will probably be happy as long as he is with me, but I don't think I'll get too much sleep. Oh well. I'm also looking forward to coming home to decorate for Christmas! I LOVE CHRISTMAS time!
