Girls Only Night

Last Friday our church was hosting a Girls Only event for girls of all ages. They we going to show the premiere of the new Veggie Tales movie. If you've never heard of Veggie Tales, it's a kids series that is Christian based and each story is a lesson from the Bible or promoting Godly character. In case you didn't guess it, the characters are vegetables. It's actually pretty cute and even enjoyable to adults. I saw the sign up sheet at the church and thought it would be fun to take Addison to since Nathan would be gone. She loved it! It was really special and cute to me to take her. I know I take her everywhere, but this was just about us and having fun together. She was excited about her snack and wanted to sit in a big chair by herself. The movie itself was cute, but didn't always hold her attention because she isn't old enough to understand the message. I kept smiling and admiring her all night. She seemed so happy and so grown up!



I know this was the first of many girls only events and as much as I don't want my baby to grow up, I can't wait to experience more times like this with her! I'm so thankful God gave me a little girl!
