HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year to all of my Blog Readers! Thank you for continuing to following along with me as I share about new things we are doing, vent a little, and keep our long-distance family updated about Addison. I've really enjoyed having this blog and plan to have every entry printed off to save for Addison to read when she is older. (and future children)

Personally, I'm happy to see 2009 end. Overall, it wasn't the best year for our family I don't think. Don't get me wrong, some good things happened, but several sad things too. (Including the loss of 3 family members.) Not going to write you a sad story or complain...just want to say...Yay for a new year!!

We have a LOT planned for this next year. To start off, we will be welcoming the birth of a new nephew Hayden who is due February 10th. Nathan and I plan to start trying for another baby sometime in the beginning of this year. (So excited and a little nervous too! hehe) We have started the process to prepare our house to be sold. We are hoping to put it on the market in March and then build a bigger house on the 3 acres we purchased in November 2008. It will be interesting to see if we are able to pull off pregnancy, selling a house, building another, and finding somewhere to live in between! Of course these are only plans. We feel released to do all of these things by God, but in the end, it is up to him if we will get pregnant or our house will sale. We just hope he says yes. :) Nathan will be on the road a lot more this year with his job. This year we hope to plan a romantic weekend trip for us sometime this Spring if we can. Along with hopefully a little family trip this summer.

2010 is going to be a busy year for us but in all honestly, we do it to ourselves so we can't complain. Nathan and I are in the process of writing our goals for this year. We are coming up with things personally and then as a family. We like to do this because it gives us something to look at towards the end of the year to see what we were able to achieve or not. It ranges from things in our marriage, financial goals, personal growth, etc. It is kind of like "new years resolutions" but on a much bigger level!

Our prayer for you this year is that God would bless you, protect you, and draw you closer to his heart! We hope this is a year filled with lots of love and laughter. Thanks again for reading and thanks for being apart of my life!
