I'm not ready for this
I can't believe my baby is going to turn 1 in less than 2 months! This afternoon I went and picked out her party theme. (Just flowers and girly with a number 1) I needed to get it picked out so I can contact the woman I am using for the cake and start writing the invitations. It's fun and exciting, but so sad. My little baby is growing up so quickly! I don't want her to turn one. That seems too grown up for my baby. I want to freeze time just for a little while and enjoy having a baby. In the store we had a lot of fun. I was making her laugh and pretending to involve her in the process of picking out the supplies. On the ride home the song I mentioned another time came on the radio about "It wont be like this for long" and I looked in my mirror. Addison was falling asleep holding her teddy bear and sucking her thumb and I just started crying.

that makes me want to cry, and i have no idea what that must feel like. i can only imagine! bless you and your precious addison!
ReplyDeleteI think this is part of the reason people have more kids. :) I mean even though the baby stage is rough in a lot of ways, it goes way way too fast and before you know it they aren't babies anymore. But don't feel bad..Noah's over 2 and he's still very much a baby to me still..and probably will be till the new baby comes. :)
ReplyDeleteYa I agree with Kayla! Sometimes Camden will do something and I will think, man I want to do this all over again!!! I think she will always be your baby no matter HOW old she gets!! She is such a doll!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I am right there with you! Very impressive that you already have your party supplies. I just got mine about three hours before my party. Maybe you need to come up here and get me more organized. :-)
