I think it's safe for me to announce... that Nathan has received another promotion!
He will continue to be the General Manager of the Cairo store, he is still the Used Equipment for the whole company (13 stores), and now he is the Ag Division manager. Basically, from my understanding, there are 5 stores that are predominarly Ag stores and now Nathan is the top guy in charge of those. It's kind of funny since he is one of the GMs of those 5 stores so he will also answer to himself. haha
I'm so proud of him! They keep giving him jobs and he keeps exceeding their expectaions! Hopefully he will soon find some guys to help him and work under him as assistents so it will take some of the everyday type work off his shoulders. So far it has been to hard to find people that qualify.
I am really proud of him, but I have my concerns. With more responsibility comes more pressure on my husband. I push him to eat healthy and take good care of his body because stress can really be hard on one's body. My kids have a hard time when he has to work late and out of town a lot. I'm trying to prepare myself for next month when he will be gone most of the time. I'm thankful that he really tries to make an effort when he is gone to talk to the kids and be present when he is home. I have times where I have grown to love my alone time when he is gone and then there are times that I really miss my husband and feel lonely.
Overall though, I believe this is a great thing for our family and for Nathan's career! He has accomplished so much in his 30 years and I'm thankful for all that his hard work provides and that I have the kind of husband that gives the glory back to God! I'm thankful that he has a job that provides more than we need for our family, allows me to stay at home, and is a job that he loves.
