One day last week after taking Addison to school, I had about 30 minutes before I could pick up some adoption paperwork. Randomly I thought to myself, "maybe I'll take Weston on a little breakfast date". Honestly, I usually have the attitude that it's easier to be at home with him. I take my kids lots of places but it's usually errands or play dates. Addison and I have had a few dates over the years and I always cherish them. So this was a first for Weston and I. Since we were already downtown I took him to a local coffee shop. I asked him before we went in if he wanted a muffin and he said yes while clapping his hands. I really didn't think he knew what I was talking about since he's only had them once or twice at our house. I walked up to the counter with him and he immediately pointed at the muffins. I ordered him a water and a blueberry muffin. Their muffins are really big! He ate all of it and the rest of my blueberry scone. He behaved so well!! I sat him in a regular chair and could tell he was proud of himself. He also thought he was hot stuff with his water cup. He sat there taking bites of his muffin, then set it down, drinks of his water, and then more muffin. Once he was done eating we left because at that point he wanted to stand in the chair and talk loudly...after all, he is only 18 months. But it was a precious 30 minutes. :)
The lighting was awesome and it made his eyes so blue! Doesn't he look precious? I could eat him with a spoon!
