If you know Addison or keep up with my blog, you will know that we've had our eating struggles since she was a newborn and didn't nurse. Never cared for baby food and always been "Selective" in her food choices. Trying to teach her not to complain over food that is offered is a DAILY task that I'm taking on.
The other night I was trying to get her to eat something, I really don't remember what. She started crying and I brought up all the children that are hungry. She said, "Because they don't have mommies and daddies?" and I explained that some don't and some have parents but they just don't have any money so she needed to take a few bites with a thankful heart. She took a bite and thought for a minute and then said, "Well why don't we just go buy them some food if they're hungry?"
I wish it were that simple...
