New Words

Addison Grace has been quite the little "talker" since she was very little and the older she gets, the more she talks. She has started learning to say actual words and it is so cute! I was originally planning on teaching her sign language so she would be able to communicate but I honestly don't think I'm going to. She seems to understand and communicate great for her age. Some children we have been around that are several months older and don't say a single word besides Mama and Dada. Addison now knows... "Hey", "Hi", "Cat", "Dog", "No", "Yeah", and "Duck". She tries to say "Up" but it is really just the U and it sounds like whining. haha Duck is her newest word and it AMAZES me how quickly she learned it. I had only pointed it out a couple of times and she was at my grandma's house yesterday and pointed to a fake duck and we said it a few times. Nathan and I took her on a golf cart ride and we were riding and she yelled out duck and pointed and we saw she was pointing to a white crane! Close enough! We hadn't said it since yesterday afternoon and this morning I was holding hugging her in the kitchen and she pointed over my shoulder and said Duck. I turned around and there was a little card on the fridge with a little chick on it! Isn't my baby so smart? haha :)
