Addison's Kitchen

Last night Nathan and I put Addison's birthday present together so she could wake up and see it in the morning. It meant so much to me to be able to give this to my daughter. I remember being even as old as five and going to other people's houses and wishing I had a kitchen like them. She may not play with it as much as she will later, but this is a gift that will last a long time. We placed it against a wall in our kitchen. Addison hardly has any toys because we hae very limited space and don't want her room to be cluttered so everything ends up in the living room. (And my sweet husband can't stand clutter! haha) But he agreed this would be a great gift and that this was the best place for it. Now I'm hoping that when I make dinner, she wont be sitting at my feet crying every night! Does anyone else have that problem?? Addison could be fine playing, but the second I get up to start cooking in the kitchen she decides she HAS to be held and spends most of the time crying because I wont.

Ta Da!! Here it is. So cute! (This is one of the bigger ones...word to the wise...the bigger it is, the longer it takes to put together! haha)

Addison woke up about 5:30 this morning! I actually brought her into our bed to put off giving her a bottle right away and she was fine until she realized her daddy was in bed and then she just wanted to play with him. Daddy's girl. So about 6 I got up to make her a bottle and showed her the birthday present. She immediately walked over and found the phone! haha Mommy's girl. :)

(Her feet are not this big! She is just tall. Her feet actually only take up a little over half of these jams.)

  1. Now you have to have baskets of play food and pots and pans. That's where the clutter starts....

Very cute! Did she explore more later?

  2. She did explore it a lot more after she woke up from a little nap! She has some pots and food that came with it. They are in the baskets and stuff.
