"What are we going to do about this?"

Nathan and I were sitting on the couch watching tv when Titus came up and backed himself onto the couch and sat his butt right down. We just looked at each other and laughed! (When people heard I was getting a Great Dane and would ask, "Don't you know those things get pretty big? I said YES! Very proudly because I wanted him BECAUSE of his size!" haha) We pushed him off and he kept coming right back and sitting on the couch. Titus didn't seem to understand because his front feet were on the floor. So about the 8th time Nathan says, "What are we going to do about this?" And I said, "Well, we are either going to allow it or we're not." after a long pause where Nathan just looked at me obviously trying to decide...I said, "We're not." haha

Titus also snagged his first piece of food off the table. I was standing right there and he never jumped. Just walked right by and stuck out his tongue to grab some ham as he went by!

He found the cat food on the laundry room counter a few weeks ago but I pushed it a little further and he hasn't botherd it sense. Poor cats, they are no longer safe on the back of the couch. Soon the only safe place will be on top of the fridge and their mean mommy wont let them on the kitchen counters!

Good thing I have a sense of humer and find it all funny. I'm in for a LOT more stories! :) (For those of you curious...he is 5 months now and over 70 lbs.)

If you go back and look at some of her archives, you can find a lot of funny pics of her Gracie sitting with just her butt on the couch and front legs on the floor. It's because they are so large that they find this comfortable and it's a typical GD trait.

  3. Too funny! I already love Titus, and I haven't even met the big guy. I love the ham story.
