Tonight was the last night preforming the Passover play. It went really well! Honestly, I wish that Nathan and I didn't act in the play and would have been a guest. The way they transformed the gym was amazing, the food smelled great every night, and we still haven't seen how it ends. haha We had to leave as soon as our part was over to pick up Addison because it was already passed her bedtime.
It's so important to remember the Passover supper and to remember what Easter is really about. I am really excited to see Addison in her Easter dress. My grandmother made Addison her very own basket to collect eggs that has her name on it. (It's so cute!!) I can't wait to help her collect them and I made her an Easter basket. (no candy *smile*) But that isn't what it's about. And I want to make sure that as my children grow I am able to embrace the fun traditions of holidays like Easter and Christmas, without failing to make sure they know what they are really about.
Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins! Thank you God for sending your son to pay a price that I could not pay! Thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to guide me. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins so that I can go to Heaven. My God is not a thing of the past. He is the same today as he was back then. He may have died on the cross but...MY REDEEMER LIVES!!!
Amen!
