A growing friendship

It's cute to watch them grow together. Addison loves being the oldest and doesn't have a problem "asking" her brother to do things. She told me the other day that she can't wait until he is older and she doesn't always have to be gentle with him. I promised her that the day would come soon enough. She didn't seem to believe me that she would probably regret that wish one day. :) Addison is always loving on her brother with kisses and hugs. She is my big helper and lets me know if he is doing something he shouldn't be or needs help. It's cute to hear her talk to him like she's the mom by saying, "What are you doing son?" or "You're my little bugaboo".

Weston loves his sister. He thinks she is the coolest. Everything she does he tries to do or wants to play with. It can be challenging because there are things such as, jumping of steps, that we don't want her to do simply because he tries to copy her. Or toys like play dough and coloring that she can't do when he is awake because he just makes a mess.

I love the moments where I am not involved in the playing at all. Where I'm either just sitting back observing or trying to get chores done and stumble upon them. Addison talks to him like he understands and Weston just nods and smiles. She can pretty much talk him into anything (might not be the best things later...) It warms my heart to watch them growing in this friendship.

Here is a moment that I captured. They were giggling and I peeked in on them. He kept kissing her and she kept laughing. Sweet.
