Disney Princess Live

We had a play date a few weeks ago with a friend in Addison's class. Her name is Brooklyn. This past week Brooklyn's mom, Amy, asked if Addison and I would be interested in a girl's date to see the Disney Princess Live show in Albany. Thankfully it worked out with Nathan's schedule to watch Weston and we went on Saturday. We ate Mexican for lunch which is Addison's favorite. (one of mine also!) Then we went to show. The girls picked out snow cones that they got in a special princess cup, got a mickey mouse/princess crown, and cotton candy. Sugar over-load!! Part of the perks of making Addison wait to enjoy sweets is, while she does enjoy treats, she rarely finishes them. :) She drank about half her drink and only ate a little of the cotton candy. It was very special to have that alone time. I enjoyed the conversations in the car with our new friends and the time I got to spend watching Addison have fun. She really liked the show and Beauty and the Beast and Minnie Mouse were her favorites. I was a little worried on the way there because she started to tear up a few times in the car because she missed her daddy. (That was the week that they didn't see him most of the week and she just missed him a lot.) Then she really perked up and seemed to have a blast! It was a great day!
