Addison likes to dress herself

Here she is a on a rainy day in Georgia. Had quite a few of them lately. Isn't she cute?!

Addison has started caring a lot about what she wears. It started when I started laying out clothes for her to dress herself. I didn't realize that I was holding her back in this way. I just always dressed her because that's what I've always done. It's really nice to be able to ask her to go get her pajamas on after her bath or lay out clothes and have her dress herself. There are few outfit she still needs help with. With this new independence has come an attitude towards clothes. Each day she wants to wear something "special" or "really pretty". I haven't quite figured out what all she likes and doesn't like. It seems like whatever I pick is usually not it and I think that is simply because I picked it out. She has told me that jeans are not special and has rarely been wearing them recently. It is a little frustrating at times but deep down I kind of love it. I love that she is girly. I love that she loves pink, princesses, diamonds, etc. She is my girl. :)
