Last week we turned in everything for our Home Study with the adoption. I read all of Nathan's Questionnaires and essay questions. I really enjoyed some of his answers!
It made my heart beam with pride when he describe how he had good parents growing up, but that he felt like I was the one who taught him how to be a nurturing parent. He said that watching me as a mother has shown him how to love in ways he didn't know were possible. (made me tear up!)
Then I was reading over some of his answers on the Adoption Questionnaire. Nathan wrote that it was his hope that through his actions, he would be an example of Christ's love and acceptance and that it would inspire others to love all people. He also hoped that it would encourage others to consider adoption who might not have.
I love him.
