I guess Titus has decided to get in on the bird feeding action. He eats and drinks all of his food and water outside on the deck. It's been this way since he was a puppy. Might sound weird to have his water only be outside and it is annoying to have to refill it several times a day even when it isn't empty because of the heat. But with a dog this size, you just can't have them getting a drink without wiping their mouths afterwards. Even with wiping before coming inside I still have drool on my ceiling from times he's shaken his head! Anyways...in the past couple of weeks we've started having birds eating Titus' food. He is more of a grazer for breakfast and often doesn't finish his food until late in the day after several trips of going outside. (And yet somehow manages to eat dinner in one sitting!) So far I'm seen black birds, cardinals, wood peckers, blue jays, and more...
Here is one bird about to get a bite.
Little hard to tell but this is a woodpecker. Perhaps they are a little smarter because they will not get close enough when I'm watching from the window.
And here is a desperate bird trying to quickly grab a piece once he saw me!
These three birds were all in one time of bird watching. Maybe eventually this will teach Titus not to take so long to eat. *wink*
