We took a field trip yesterday to the Tallahassee Museum. It was really neat! They had all kinds of animals from wild to barn yard, a great picnic area with a play ground, old buildings to walk through, and the kids got to touch a few animals. Addison was in such a good mood and seemed to love it! We didn't have a single melt-down or bad moment to be honest and it made it so enjoyable. As we drove home I felt proud of my little girl, thankful for the opportunity to do this with her, and ssooo tired from all the walking!
You only get one chance to live your life, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Mommy Group Field Trip
I suggested to the mommies in our group a few weeks ago that we do a couple of things out of the ordinary with our group this summer. I only have a couple of months left with just one child and once Weston is older we will do stuff but at least for a couple of months we will spend most our days at home! And it will never be as easy as it is with just one. So I really want to take advantage of spending time with her while I can and make some special memories.

I really wish I could have gone. It looks like you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteCool field trip! I always forget that place is there. I took Logan there when he was about 6 months old, but have never been back!
