I'm sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I used to these past several weeks. We have had so much going on lately. Thought I would take a few minutes to catch you up on what's been going on with us...
At least one week was devoted to Jessica and Hayden for sure. I spent the whole time in the hospital with them. Then I would go over to my mom's house to help as needed. They are doing so well! Baby Hayden continues to be the dream baby I could only pray for next time! haha Jessica is becoming such a good little mom and I've been so proud of her. (still nursing too!)
Addison Grace is growing up! Our little girl turned 22 months earlier this month. I can't believe she will be 2 in May!! I've just barely started thinking about her birthday party but wont be planning until later due to all that we have to do before then and the fact that we aren't sure where we will be living at the time. But I have some ideas for her. Addison is talking more and more and more! All of her words aren't very clear, but she is putting together phrases and making sentences and I'm amazed! She is always the first to tell on herself and I never know what to expect when she comes to me and says, "Oh no mommy! No, no." (while shaking her head very seriously) And then she takes me by the hand to find a spill, maybe some color on the table that missed the paper, or whatever. Addison also likes to tell on Titus. She will run to me and say, "Mommy! No, no, no...bad dog." Poor Titus, sometimes he isn't even doing anything but sleeping. haha She is so much fun! Everywhere we go people tell her how beautiful she is. Some people she perks right up and starts talking and then other she is completely shy too. Addison has done really well for the most part with Hayden. She got to hold him last week and that was so sweet to see her kissing his head. Only problem there is that she insists on having his pacifiers in her mouth too since baby has one. (which is strange because she wouldn't take one as a baby)
Nathan is doing well with work. He still continues to be one of/the top salesman, depending on the month. This year he has transitioned more into the Used Equipment Manager they made him last year. He is also responsible for buying equipment for the 13 stores so that has put him on the road a lot more already this year. Some of the times Addison and I will get to come along and others just aren't worth the long drive for a short trip. We will be joining him next month on one trip to Montgomery. We are so thankful during this hard time that Nathan has a great job that he enjoys and provides for all our families' needs.
It's almost time to sale our house. March is coming soon. So far we haven't gotten as much done by now as planned. Most of that is because of the bad weather we kept having on the weekends. But we have had some painting done and all the crown molding caulked. This weekend Nathan scrubbed our Trex deck and then pressure washed the house. This week I am going to be going through all the closets, cabinets, and rooms throwing stuff out that we don't need and organizing. (kinda dreading it) I'm also scheduling to have the carpet steam cleaned. Hoping to plant lots of stuff out front this coming weekend and then Nathan is going to take a day off work so we can scrub this house from top to bottom and every nook and cranny! Then we will call the realtor and have her come for pictures and put it up for sale! Part of me is excited and the other part is dreading the process.
Through all the busy times, we try and squeeze in family time when possible. Last Friday I took Addison and Titus to visit Nathan's work. We went out to lunch for Mexican and Addison ate great. (and messy!) Then we went back and let Titus out and they roamed in the field and then we went for a gator ride. Titus got to spend the afternoon there and Addison and I left to run errands. It was great day. I love days where we do something special like that. Addison had been whinny most of last week but that day she woke up in the best mood and it continued even during all the errands I had to run later.
I hope you all are doing well! I could say that I will try and do better on blogging...but I probably wont be able to for a little while. :)
