Lap top is here!!

My new laptop arrived today and I just got it uploaded, configured, and hooked to the internet. I still have so much to figure out because my last laptop was since my senior year of highschool. But, so far, I'm loving it! I was blessed with this computer because Nathan and I really didn't have the money to buy another one when my old one died. But he suggested we trade in some of our John Deere points for a Sears gift card. (only place on JD's list that sold them) Well we could spend between five and six hundred. I found one for just over five hundred and figured in tax and shipping. So Nathan ordered $575 in gift cards. When they arrived, I suggested driving to Tallahassee to look at it in person just to make sure we liked it. Got to the store and they said all computers are only sold online. So we went home and I tried to order it, but they were out of stock. So I started searching for another one. All the while noticing how nice the ones that I couldn't afford were. haha Well I found something called Sears Outlet online and they had one lap top for sale and it was this super mack daddy one that was originally about $1200 for sale for $535!! So I got ahold of the store in Miami that it was at. And of course, the lady was giving me a hard time telling me there aren't laptops in their stores. I tried to talk to someone else and they took down my number but never called me back. So my sweet husband decided to call and go directly to the top! And then he told the Manager or GM, whatever he was, that his wife would be calling him in the morning. I called and started getting information. I asked why this computer was for half price and he said because someone bought it online, decided they didn't want it, and returned it to the store. And since they don't sale them in the stores, he had to keep marking it down to get it out of there. But that is was completely new, not a scratch on it, and still in the packaging. So I told him I wanted it. And then when he added tax and shipping, it came out to be something over six hundred. So I said, ok I have five seventy five in gift cards and I will pay the rest. His reply was, "Oh that's too much work for me. I'll mark the computer down so that it comes to 575 evenly!" I was so thankful!! I kept telling Nathan that nothing like this ever happens for me and I'm so excited!

So now it's finally here! I have a working computer that stays on for longer than 20 minutes, does not burn my legs because it's overheating, with up to date technology, and much better than I expected! Thank you Jesus!
