My in laws have the worst water pressure. It takes forever to fill a bath tube, fill a sink, fill the washer and so on. When you turn on the shower it really doesn't come out very well at all. Like for Nathan, he complains, but it isn't that bad. But I have so much hair to wash and rinse! And shaving takes FOREVER when you try and rinse out the shaving cream from your razor after every other swipe. haha But on this trip out I found a positive thing about it.
I went to take a shower and brought some toys for Addison to play with on the floor in the bathroom. As soon as I got in she had no interest in playing and just cried and cried. So I decided, what the heck. I stripped her clothes and got a few toys and put her in with me. Because hardly any water comes out, I was able to shower on one side while Addison played on the other. She thought it was great! And we did it again today. :)
I used to do this when Noah was little. I'd put him in his Bumbo seat and stick it on one end...he was happy and I got a full shower. haha..Kate is still content to wait on the bathroom floor for me to finish..but I know eventually we'll just stick her in too. We like family baths/showers. Sure saves on water and time. :)
