Addison and I went to spend some time with my mother in law last week. We drove up there Sunday and Nathan joined us Thursday. In the beginning it was very hard because Addison was teething and in a terrible mood! She wouldn't eat, didn't sleep that much, and was very crabby. But we made the most of it. I used the opportunity to spend some time with family and friends. I spent a day with my sister in law Michelle. Visited their new property and Addison got to be up close with horses and cows for the first time. She very much wanted down to play with them! The next day I spent time with my sister in law Lisa at her house. The kids got a chance to play together. I did some shopping while I was there. I got in a girls night out with my mother in law and Lisa and it gave Nathan a chance to hang out with his brother Jason and for the kids to play together again. Nathan and I went out with some of our friends up there and Sunday we went to a wedding for a family friend. Long week and I'm so glad to be back home and slept like a rock in my own bed last night! I wish I lived closer with my sister in laws because I feel such a connection with them and would love to spend more time together! Guess we will just have to make the most of it. :)
Unfortunately, I hardly took any pictures. I didn't get any of Nathan and I, none of his parents or any adults, and I only got a couple of two of Addison's cousins! haha But here are two cute ones.
When Addison and I drove up to our house, we were welcomed by 29 geese!! I couldn't get a picture that captured all of them because there were spread out all over the driveway, street, and yard. I thought this was cool!
