Better Late than Never I guess

Addison is almost 14 months old and just started holding her bottle! haha I think most babies start holding them around 5 or 6 months, but Addison never did. She just leans back and holds her mouth open waiting for me to do it. I tried to get her to put her hands around it and she just got mad. She did it once or twice when she was younger, but never for a whole bottle either. I asked her pediatrician about it when she was 9 months and he said that everything else she was doing was either right on target or advanced so if she didn't do this one thing he didn't care. Well she just started doing it last week! I guess she is trying to convince me that it's ok if she wont drink her milk from a cup. :) The good news is she is up to half organic milk and half formula now so as of now I'm just working on getting rid of formula and then I'll worry about the other.
