A very exciting day for us!

After lots of prayer and consideration, Nathan and I know which country and agency we need to proceed with. We filled out about a 10 page application this past weekend. Along with it we had to send our first check in and a current picture of our family. This morning we sat in the living room and Nathan and I laid hands on the paperwork and each said a prayer over it. To list a few things, we prayed that the agency would have favor over us and choose our family to be apart of the program, we prayed over our son and the transition for him and our family , we prayed that God would bring forth the money, and for wisdom and guidance throughout this whole process. I put it all together in a large envelope and mailed it off. When I got back in the car I teared up just thinking about how excited I am to get started after dreaming for so long. I sent Nathan an email from my phone and all it said was. "Today we changed our lives! Feels good!!!" The agency told us that within two weeks we would hear if we were accepted into the program. At that time, when it's for sure, we will announce which country! In the meantime, I'm trying to come up with a name for our adoption blog. :)
